SYNERGIZE was founded through the collaboration of 20 scientists from a number of institutions in Brazil, the UK, Netherlands and USA. The network is led by a Steering Committee and three subgroups that focus on terrestrial vegetation, terrestrial fauna and freshwater ecosystems.
